Accessibility
We want the Rav's classes to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. The site aims at level AA of the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, on which the Israeli standard IS 5568 is based.
What has been done
- Structured pages (headings, lists, landmarks) and full keyboard navigation.
- Language and reading direction declared on every page (Hebrew right to left).
- Alternative text for images, sufficient contrast, text can be enlarged without loss of content.
- Layout adapted to phones and tablets.
- For each enriched class: a written summary and timed highlights, useful to those who cannot listen to the video.
- Lighthouse (Google) accessibility score: 100/100 on the home page.
Known limitations
- Videos play in the YouTube player; their captions are generated automatically and may contain errors. Some older classes do not have captions yet.
- Summaries do not yet cover every class: new ones are added every day.
